MINING HEAVY WEIGHTS

Traction on untreated roads is greatly reduced. Clay is flicked up compounding the break up and damaging the pavement.
This sort of road increases the already very high cost of maintenance.
 

This is a control with one section treated and the other simply water bound in the normal way in April 1989. These photographs  were taken in August 1989.
