Finished Road after Stabilization
These four photographs show the bringing in of the material from the borrow pit, through the application of Endurazyme and onto the compacted pavement. This follows onto a 16mm chip hot mix bitumen seal. The application of the seal was between seven and three days after compaction. It rained heavily the night before the seal was applied, however, this had no adverse effects on the finished job. The entire job was carried out under the watchful eye of Alex Selle a well respected local Government Engineer and his Foreman Len Scorey. As is usual a company consultant attended for a two day period.
